Hey guys!
Just wondering how you're all doing? About me, having a few rough days recently, because of many reasons. Entrance exams and all are nearly over, scored good in some and bad in some. I won't be getting the college that I want, I got to know. Well, due to all of this, I was able to open up to my parents really well after many years. I talked about how the last 4 years have been tough. I developed Depression and OCD and I've been dealing with all of it myself. Seeked help from a doctor in the family with just him knowing, but he came out to be unsupportive and just brushed off all my allegated problems as just normal pressure for any high school student. It sucks to open up to someone like that for the first time and then get fucked over by them. Only he knew and he promised that he'd try to make my parents understand but he didn't. Anyways, I snapped in front of my parents yesterday and told them everything. The feeling after that was heavenly. I still feel that by getting some bad exam results, I've disappointed my parents. When I told my marks to my mom and that I won't be able to clear the cutoff, she looked away with that disappointment in her eyes which I don't think I'd be able to ever forget. I'm trying my best though, even when I'm not getting any results for the past 4 years. That's why this loneliness turned me towards films and I developed a love for it. Then came to this platform, and met you guys who've been so supportive. And then never stopped this love from growing since. Will continue to do so. I'm just thankful to all of you.
I wanted something calm and gritty for my satisfaction at the same time. I love the calm Tokyo aesthetic and that's when I came across a series called "Tokyo Vice" starring Ansel Elgort. I got that sense of calm when I watched everything of Tokyo while getting an experience of murder and violence. It's a good show, picks up slowly but has its slaps. Kind of a 7.5 outta 10.
I'd be watching some movies later and reviewing it after immediately. Overall, I'm just hoping that all you guys are doing good and are happy and are busy achieving dreams in their lives.
Best of luck!
