I usually cry the most for family-love-oriented things. But somehow this movie didn't make me cry like some people do. The Wild Robot is certainly a good animated movie, in terms of its eye-pleasing animation, its hopeful score, and also the cast that manages to express the characters. As for the story, although it's full of moral messages, it's perhaps too simple for my liking so it didn't manage to pierce my heart deeply. And finally I have to be honest that Inside Out 2 (2024) is still my favorite animated movie of the year so far.
