Well… y’all were right. The Wild Robot is the best animated film of 2024, so far.
It’s such a heartfelt story, with characters who have amazing character development. It’s about love, motherhood, & coming together, as a community.
I loved our main characters & the bond that they begin to form. I loved the voice acting, with Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, Bill Nighy, Ving Rhames, & Mark Hamill.
Of course, the animation is stunning. Some of the most beautiful shots of the year. The score was also really damn good. I enjoyed the Maren Morris needle drops. I just really loved this film.
It made me laugh, it made me cry (multiple times), & it had a wonderfully executed message, that adults & children can connect to.
Easily, one of the better Dreamworks films we’ve gotten in recent memory.
