Just kept thinking Fink was the fox from Zootopia the whole time.
The Wild Robot is beautiful, well-paced, and perfectly predictable. It tugs at the heart strings for all ages of viewers but has a sense of humor and some good peril for kid's animation. As a parent, it's especially touching even down to the spot the kid rests their head and for great themes of friendship and community it's full to the brim. There's enough comedy for the grown-ups but it's definitely a kid's movie through and through. This was a fun time made infinitely better watching with my wife and kid in the theater and I'm sure it will be on quite a bit once it hits one of the streamers. DreamWorks made a great one and I love the use of this style of animation.
