The Wild Robot on IMAX + 10mg sativa edible = movie euphoria

Masterpiece, confirmed! Pre-gaming for Smile 2 with its tonal opposite. They bumped Joker 2 off IMAX for this glorious film, thank god! It’s simply stunning, giving me loads of laughs, thrills, and tears. Seriously, sobbing through the entire learning-to-fly sequence is peak experience. 

Watching it again, I noticed lots of parallels to my favorite film, EEAAO: reluctant motherhood, kindness as a survival skill, the ability to make me go from laughing to crying within a minute, Stephanie Hsu playing a gleefully sinister entity. No wonder I adore this so much. 

The Wild Robot, Across the Spiderverse, and TMNT: Mutant Mayhem are like a holy trinity of recent animation for me. I am stunned by these works of art. I love movies!
