And the Oscar for Best Animated Feature goes to The Wild Robot!
Even if I find an animated movie from 2024 that I like more than this movie, I'd still pick this movie for the Oscar for Best Animated feature, no question. First movie I've seen in a full theatre in a while, mostly families with little kids but it was fun seeing a movie with a packed theatre. Hearing the laughs, gasps, kids making theories that is the fun of a packed theatre. The Wild Robot is just incredible, pure magic. DreamWorks best movie since How to train your Dragon 2. The animation is absolutely stunning, beautiful. The cast and dialogue oh so good. Overall The Wild Robot is easily the best animated movie of the year and just one of the best movies of the year.
