Happy 8th birthday to the film that ended up making me the most insufferable person ever. Really though I can’t believe it’s already been 8 years since 10 year old me had my life changed in 2016. La La land was one of the first films to truly make me passionate and start to realize what I wanted to pursue when I got older which was film of course:) I will always be grateful for being shown this beauty at a younger age and the outcome of it transcending my love for cinema even further. Damien Chazelle deserves the entire world for brewing pure movie magic and so does the wonderful Emma Stone & Ryan Gosling because I could never in a million years imagine anyone else playing their roles the way they did. I hope this film touched and inspired everyone else who enjoyed it to chase their aspirations no matter how crazy like it did with me. But until we all finally achieve our goals, Here’s to the fools who dream💜
