I haven't seen a movie that is so aggressively ok in a long time.

If all you want is to see Kong walk around and fight shit occasionally, you'll have a blast with this movie.

If you want all of that and fleshed out characters, humor and a feeling of satisfaction, maybe watch Aliens instead.
