Rian Johnson went so hard and made so many awesome decisions with this that he broke the American psyche and made just about every franchise property (please save us, Spider-Verse) since at least 10% worse than it would have been had social media not existed.
If the night Force Awakens came out was the last time where being online was somewhat fun, the night The Last Jedi came out proved Newton’s Third Law applied to online as well as physics.…

Shoulda been a movie.
I'm not going to echo too many of the criticisms (awkwardness, pacing, repetition) floating out there, just what got me the most.
Cinematography: This was of my own doing by watching Rogue One before I watched this, but as is the problem with the other Disney+ Star Wars shows there is a lack of "oomph" in the cinematography and visuals that I think Star Wars needs. I thought they would put a little more elbow grease…

Visually luscious, sweet, funny, breezy, gosh this was so good.
Pixar continues to impress, and based on this and Soul, this newest generation of filmmakers is going to do some really awesome stuff.
