Damn. That was actually really good.
Fully looks like the product of actual hard work and effort. Set designs are great, as is the photography, the costumes, and of course, the music. Not fully convinced by Bailey yet, but otherwise all well acted too, and Grande's performance was a genuinely pleasant surprise.
It could be a little darker to reflect the source material, but would be harsh to take this one away from the younger folk. A fun romp and one of the better musical adaptations I've seen.
Ironically, these actors are more normal and relateable in fantasy land than they are in the real world 😂
