Are people born wicked? Or do they have wickedness thrust upon them?

This movie is a fairy tale. I'm sure I would have liked it more if I were a little girl. Still, I enjoyed most of the scenes. Ariana Grande was cool but Cynthia Erivo was the coolest! I love witches. From the first scene of the movie, I knew that "The Wicked Witch" would be my favorite. She deserves more, deserves everything.

Being a musical made the movie more entertaining. The songs were also good. The costumes, the set was great. Colorful and magical. The best costume was the dress Glinda wore in the first scene. Ariana looked amazing in it.

But I didn't like it as much as everyone else. Please don't hate me but I found it a bit overrated. I know it's a fairy tale, but wasn't it still a bit too cliche? Also, it felt like it was 3 hours long. For a moment, I thought it would never end. Maybe because it was too predictable. Movies like this are for feeling good, I shouldn't care technical details. Still, these things prevented me from enjoying it much.

And I'm sorry to say that Elphaba and Glinda's friendship (as sweet as it is) never felt real to me. I wish I could feel that friendship more. I know this is hot take.

Jonathan Bailey.. You always gonna be famous. How charming he is! My favorite song was his song.
