What a pair we’ll be the wizard and I… So much better on the rewatch everything was just as great and exciting as the first watch. One of the best movie musical adaptations recreated with such beautiful care and sincerity by the whole cast and crew and it just bleeds through every song and scene and piece of dialogue. So whimsical and beautiful to see definitely one of the best duos of the year and decade no boring or fake moment between them just pure emotion and love and it’s always emotional and devastating to see with the last part with defying gravity it’s just one of the best musical performances ever brought on screen and completely made the movie no one can deny that. Cynthia has some of the best vocals ever to bring Elphaba and that amazing, powerful ballad to life and she exceeded expectations and more. One of the most important movies and musicals ever to me, it’s incredibly relatable and powerful piece of medias to me and is incredibly queercoded is simply the reason why I cry everytime I watch it. I would do anything for Elphaba and Fiyero… that actually means a lot to me aww ;) Still so excited the anticipation is killing me for part two but I know the wait will be worth it and to see Elphaba get her revenge fully so and more that’s what I would do that’s why she’s my sister and ruin Glinda and Fiyero’s wedding we need to shut that shit down that man is a fruitcake!! he’s only straight for elphaba im so sorry boo.. Seeiously can’t stress enough how the lore and plot of Oz is incredibly relatable to life in the US it’s really scary and sad but we mustn’t lose hope and keep going on, Wicked definitely helps me cope and gets through a dark time and has been there for me when I needed some comfort and light in a film that I love which this has no trouble in doing and I will ever be thankful to Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo!!
P.S. Jonathan Bailey is thee gay king and can dance and sing perfectly! He is that bitch and y’all don’t get him like I do (iykyk)
