Hamish Frater was a wizard and a former Captain for the Gryffindor Quidditch team.[2]
By the early 1990s, there was a plaque on the mantlepiece at Gryffindor Tower listing him as a former Gryffindor Quidditch Captain.[2]

- Hamish Frater is a video game artist who worked for PlayStation Home. Pottermore for PlayStation Home was the last thing he worked on before leaving Sony; thus this naming is a tribute to him.[3]
