Andrew Snowy Owl was a wizard and Slytherin student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 1940s and 1950s. He was Captain of the Slytherin Quidditch team from 1948 to 1952.[2][3]
Etymology[]
The name "Andrew" comes from the Greek name Ανδρεας (Andreas), which was derived from ανηρ (aner) "man" (genitive ανδρος (andros) "of a man"). "Snowy Owl" refers to the species of owl.

- This character is a presumably a tribute to Andrew Ackland-Snow, who worked as an art director on all eight Harry Potter films.
