December 2024 Resolution Success Challenge and New Take This Challenge[]
The Habitica team has launched a special official Challenge series! These Challenges are designed to help you build and maintain goals that are destined for success and then stick with them as the year progresses. For this month's Challenge, Journey's End and New Beginnings, we're focusing on sharing our successes and reviewing the year! It has a 15 gem prize, which will be awarded to five lucky winners on January 2nd.

NEW PERKS FOR HABITICA SUBSCRIBERS ARE NOW UNLOCKED!
Today’s the day, Habiticans! We’ve switched over to the new subscriber benefits so you can get even more rewards to keep you motivated.
Starting in December, this new benefit schedule will allow all subscribers to receive a Mystic Hourglass at the beginning of each month. If you’re a subscriber with a monthly Gem Cap below 50, you’ll also see that cap go up by 2 at the same time each month until reaching max.
If you use the Android or iOS apps, be sure to update to the latest version to see these new benefits.
Every player who had an active recurring subscription before today has also received extra bonuses to help ease the transition to this new benefit schedule.

Habitica subscriptions already come with tons of benefits to help keep you motivated while taking on your task list. Our special Summer Splash event will begin on June 21 and you’ll get new class gear, Transformation items, brand-new Summer Hair colors, and more! Starting with this gala, there will now be a seasonal event active at all times throughout the year.

COMING THIS SUMMER! NEW CONTENT, NEW RELEASE SCHEDULE, AND A NEW SHOP!
Habitica has so much fun and engaging content to offer, and we’re making changes to make it easier for new players to get started on their collection as well as for veteran players to complete theirs!
First, we are adjusting our content release and availability schedule so that your favorite items, such as Magic Hatching Potions, existing Backgrounds, previous Subscriber Sets, and Pet Quests will switch out monthly on a predictable yearly schedule. Fan-favorite monthly new releases like Backgrounds, Enchanted Armoire gear, and new Subscriber Sets will continue.
Second, Grand Galas will now be continuous! A seasonal Gala will be active at all times, along with all its Class gear, Avatar Customizations, and other goodies.
Third, we are adding a new spot to deck out your avatar! The Customization Shop will be the home of Hair Styles, Skins, Backgrounds, and more.
And best of all, we will be adding brand new Quests, Pets, Magic Hatching Potions, and more throughout the year!

It’s been a rainy spring in Habitica and the ground around the stables is spongy and damp. You notice quite a few mushrooms have appeared along the wooden stable walls and fences. There’s a fog hanging about, not quite letting the sun peek through, and it’s a bit dispiriting.

The denizens of Habitica peer anxiously at their calendars as the first of April dawns. It’s a lovely spring day and the ground is slightly damp from recent rain.
Suddenly, up from the very ground of the flowery fields around Habit city rises the Master of Rogues, the April Fool! He’s popped up out of nowhere. He’s really outdone himself with this entrance!
