The Vintage Pistol is a weapon added in The "I'm Not a Hipster" Update for Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
The Vintage Pistol is mostly based on the FN Model 1922. It is a semi-automatic custom made engraved pistol with a grey/silver color. It appears to be one of the oldest handguns, as it lacks any Picatinny rail for attachments.
Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto V and Online[]
The Vintage Pistol is mostly a unique novelty weapon; it causes a respectable damage of 34, which surpasses the Pistol and the Combat Pistol per round, but falls short against the Heavy Pistol and the Pistol .50, and also has mediocre accuracy. Its rate of fire is about 150 rounds per minute, which is a rather low value compared to most handguns, but it retains the ability to fire faster by tapping the firing button, and is thus able to increase its rate of fire to around 240 rounds per minute.
The Vintage Pistol has one of the smallest magazine capacities in the game, with seven rounds per magazine (14 with the Extended Clip attachment), which sits above the SNS Pistol and is on par with most handguns with default magazine sizes. But again, it falls short of most handguns with the Extended Clip attachment equipped. The weapon can also have a suppressor.
Overall, the Vintage Pistol is a decent choice thanks to its damage per round, but it is severely hindered by the small capacity, the accuracy and the fire rate.

Trivia[]
General[]
- In L.A Noire (Another game from Rockstar Games) there is a pistol identical to the Vintage Pistol with the name of FN Browning 1922. In fact, the Vintage Pistol is based on the same pistol.
- It bears a slight resemblance to the same engraved 1902 Colt pistol used by one of the mobsters in the film Public Enemies.
- The artwork for the I'm Not A Hipster Update features a prototype version of this pistol with a more M1911-inspired rear end, judging from the protruding hammer and grip safety.
- The weapon bears a striking resemblance to the High Power Pistol from Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption.
