The Tactical SMG can be considered a direct upgrade to the Micro SMG in almost all regards. It is one of the more powerful weapons of its class: its damage per second output is 217.08, which is only outclassed by a few submachine guns such as the Machine Pistol and the Mini SMG. Unlike the former two, however, the Tactical SMG's standard magazine capacity (33 rounds) is much higher, making reloads less frequent.
As with most other submachine guns, the weapon is fairly inefficient at longer range. Although the weapon displays low recoil, its accuracy quickly degrades with prolonged fire. Nonetheless, its high damage per second and relatively low recoil make it quite efficient as a drive-by weapon.
The Tactical SMG benefits from a small attachment selection. The Extended Clip boosts the weapon's magazine capacity from 33 rounds to 60 rounds, making reloads even less frequent. The Scope replaces the gun's iron sights with a clear optical sight, which is quite helpful if the player uses this weapon in first-person view, and allows the player to shoulder the weapon while firing in third-person. Finally, the Suppressor enables the weapon to fire silenced shots, but given its already low damage and range, this attachment is best avoided unless the player plans on using this weapon exclusively for close quarters combat.
