Laser Sight

The Laser Sight is a device featured in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. It was also originally planned to be featured as an attachment in Grand Theft Auto V. It is a laser attached to the gun that points where the bullet will hit.

3D Universe

The Laser Sight appears when looking through the scope of the Combat Sniper Rifle. The laser can be seen when pointing the scope at a wall.

In earlier releases of Grand Theft Auto V, Laser Sights were attachments that allowed a beam of red light that would have followed the crosshair, most likely increasing accuracy and/or range. The Laser Sight is visible in several pre-release screenshots of the game, used by NOOSE and police officers in Police Mavericks. The attachment was ultimately scrapped from the final release of the game.
