The Vom Feuer Service Carbine (also known as the Tactical Rifle) is an assault rifle featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the continuation of The Criminal Enterprises update, released on August 25, 2022, during the Brioso 300 Widebody Week event.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The Service Carbine is an M16-based military rifle; it is a hybrid mainly based on the M16A1 and modern M16A3. This makes the gun, ironically, a full-length rifle, and not a carbine.
The handguard is triangular like the one used on the original M16, XM16E1, and M16A1, but ribbed with perforations along the top and bottom like the handguard on the M16A2, M16A3 and some M16A4s. It has a detachable A2 carry handle on a flat top upper receiver with the round A2/A4 forward assist button like the M16A4, but lacks the case deflector like the M16 and XM16E1. The lower receiver lacks any fencing around the magazine release button as on the M16A1. The pistol grip is a slightly misshapen version of the one found on the Olympic Arms K4B.
Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The Service Carbine has the third highest damage output in the assault rifles class, as each round inflicts 34.75 damage points, being a 10 shot kill to players rank 100 and above in the chest (11 shot at least 53 meters away). The Service Carbine’s rate of fire is 480 rounds per minute. With shots per second and damage output multiplied, it has 278.0 damage per second, falling slightly behind the Special Carbine Mk II (278.417). The Service Carbine has a magazine capacity of 30 rounds, but it can be extended to 60 rounds. It has moderate accuracy, but it can be improved with the grip attachment.

Locations[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
- Can be bought at Ammu-Nation or Agency Armory for $370,000.
- Alternatively, to unlock the Service Carbine for free, the player has to collect five components of the gun from ten possible different crime scenes around Los Santos and Blaine County, where locations might be repeatable. Once all parts are collected, the rifle will be added to the weapon wheel immediately and the Service Carbine will be available for modification at the Armory in a player's Agency Armory or Ammu-Nation[1].
Oversights[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
- On the PC version, the Service Carbine obtained through the Crime Scene event could not be managed through any Gun Locker in the player's properties. This has been fixed following the San Andreas Mercenaries update.
