Vacuum Fields[1] are objects that displace enemies, players and other objects within an AoE.
Overview[]
Two types of Vacuum Fields exist: Pulling Vacuum Fields and Pushing Vacuum Fields.
Pulling Vacuum Fields are the most common, and will pull targets towards the center of the field. The player can create Pulling Vacuum Fields via character talents like Venti's Wind's Grand Ode, The Viridescent Hunt weapon passive, and special event effects. Pulling Vacuum Fields are a kind of crowd control that can group enemies closer together, making it easier for the player to attack multiple enemies at the same time.
Pushing Vacuum Fields will push targets away from the center of the field. This type of Vacuum Fields is used by some characters to push enemies away while casting certain abilities, and vice versa.
Most player-created vacuums have a Weight requirement. Enemies that do not match this requirement will not be affected by the Vacuum Field.
Vacuum Data[]
Targets within the vacuum Pulling Radius will start to accelerate towards the vacuum center. Radii are measured in meters.
- "Inner Radius" refers to the area at the center of the Vacuum Field where the pulling effect stops.
There are two parameters governing the pulling strength of the Vacuum Field (also labeled "Wind Zones" in the source code):
- Strength: Positive Strength indicates a Pulling Vacuum Field; Negative Strength indicates a Pushing Vacuum Field.
- Attenuation: If Attenuation is greater than 0, the pulling effect will be stronger the closer a target is to the center of the Vacuum Field. If Attenuation is 0, the pulling effect will be the same anywhere inside the Vacuum Field.
- Certain vacuum fields have reversed Attenuation. These vacuum fields will have a stronger pulling effect the farther the target is from the center of the field.
Displacement velocity of a Vacuum Field is calculated as:[2]
Attenuation Type | Formula |
---|---|
Regular | |
Reversed |
Vacuum | Pulling Radius (m) | Inner Radius (m) | Strength | Attenuation | Weight Requirement |

There are 13 Talents that match the category selection:
Talent | Description | Type |
---|---|---|
![]() Anraku Secret Spring Therapy ![]() ![]() ![]() | Summons forth countless lovely dreams and nightmares that pull in nearby objects and opponents, dealing AoE Anemo DMG and summoning a Mini Baku. Mini Baku: Follows the current active character. At regular intervals, the Mini Baku will create 1 Yumemi Style Special Snack nearby. After a nearby active character picks up a Special Snack, if their HP is higher than 70%, the Snack will explode and unleash a Munen Shockwave, dealing 1 instance of AoE Anemo DMG to nearby opponents. Otherwise, it will heal the one who picked it up based on Yumemizuki Mizuki's Elemental Mastery. When Yumemizuki Mizuki triggers healing by picking up a Yumemi Style Special Snack, the amount of healing is increased by 100%. If some time passes without a Snack being picked up, it will explode and release a Munen Shockwave, dealing 1 instance of AoE Anemo DMG to surrounding opponents. | Elemental Burst |

![]() Chihayaburu ![]() ![]() ![]() | Unleashes a secret technique as fierce as the rushing wind that pulls objects and opponents towards Kazuha's current position before launching opponents within the AoE, dealing Anemo DMG and lifting Kazuha into the air on a rushing gust of wind. Within 10s of remaining airborne after casting Chihayaburu, Kazuha can unleash a powerful Plunging Attack known as Midare Ranzan. (PressPress/TapTap) Can be used in mid-air. Hold Charges up before unleashing greater Anemo DMG over a larger AoE than (PressPress/TapTap) Mode. Plunging Attack: Midare Ranzan When a Plunging Attack is performed using the effects of the Elemental Skill Chihayaburu, Plunging Attack DMG is converted to Anemo DMG. On landing, Kazuha creates a small wind tunnel via a secret blade technique that pulls in nearby objects and opponents. Midare Ranzan's DMG is considered Plunging Attack DMG. | Elemental Skill |
![]() Dandelion Breeze ![]() ![]() ![]() | Calling upon the wind's protection, Jean creates a swirling Dandelion Field, launching surrounding opponents and dealing Anemo DMG. At the same time, she instantly regenerates a large amount of HP for all party members. The amount of HP restored scales off Jean's ATK. Dandelion Field

![]() Forbidden Creation - Isomer 75 / Type II ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sucrose hurls an unstable concoction that creates a Large Wind Spirit. While it persists, the Large Wind Spirit will continuously pull in surrounding opponents and objects, launch nearby opponents, and deal Anemo DMG. Elemental Absorption If the Wind Spirit comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro energy, it will deal additional Elemental DMG of that type. Elemental Absorption may only occur once per use. | Elemental Burst |
![]() Gale Blade ![]() ![]() ![]() | Focusing the might of the formless wind around her blade, Jean releases a miniature storm, launching opponents in the direction she aims at, dealing massive Anemo DMG. Hold At the cost of continued stamina consumption, Jean can command the whirlwind to pull surrounding opponents and objects towards her front. Direction can be adjusted. Character is immobile during skill duration. | Elemental Skill |
![]() Garyuu Bladework ![]() ![]() ![]() | Normal Attack Performs up to 5 rapid strikes. Charged Attack Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to unleash 2 rapid sword strikes. Plunging Attack Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact. If this Plunging Attack is triggered by Chihayaburu, it will be converted to Plunging Attack: Midare Ranzan. Plunging Attack: Midare Ranzan When a Plunging Attack is performed using the effects of the Elemental Skill Chihayaburu, Plunging Attack DMG is converted to Anemo DMG and will create a small wind tunnel via a secret blade technique that pulls in nearby objects and opponents. | Normal Attack |
![]() Gust Surge ![]() ![]() ![]() | Guiding the path of the wind currents, you summon a forward-moving tornado that pulls objects and opponents towards itself, dealing continuous Anemo DMG. Elemental Absorption If the tornado comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro, it will deal additional Elemental DMG of that type. Elemental Absorption may only occur once per use. | Elemental Burst |
![]() Juuga: Forward Unto Victory ![]() ![]() ![]() | Displaying his valor as a general, Gorou deals Aoe Geo DMG and creates a field known as General's Glory to embolden his comrades. General's Glory This field has the following properties:

While in the Manifest Gale state, Faruzan's next fully charged shot will consume this state and will become a Hurricane Arrow that contains high-pressure currents. This arrow deals Anemo DMG based on the DMG of a fully charged Aimed Shot from "Normal Attack: Parthian Shot." Pressurized Collapse The Hurricane Arrow will apply a Pressurized Collapse effect to the opponent or character hit. This effect will be removed after a short delay, creating a vortex that deals AoE Anemo DMG and pulls nearby objects and opponents in. If the Hurricane Arrow does not hit any opponent or character, it will create a Pressurized Collapse effect at its point of impact. The vortex DMG is considered Elemental Skill DMG. | Elemental Skill |
