Blunt Attacks or Heavy Attacks refer to attacks that can damage Geo objects and certain Shields more significantly than others, as well as Shatter Frozen targets. These include:
- Claymore Attacks, except Kinich's Mid-Air Normal Attack.
- Plunging Attacks (Except Bow and Catalyst)
- Most Geo DMG, except:[Note 1]
- Ningguang's Plunging Attack
- Gorou's Charged Attack and Crystal Collapses
- Yun Jin's Opening Flourish
- Chiori's "Sode" Coordinated Attack
- Xilonen's Elemental Skill
- Attacks infused with Geo that were not originally Blunt.
- Most attacks that appear as explosions
Note that Blunt is a separate attribute from poise damage. Although there is a tendency for Blunt attacks to have high poise damage, it is not always true that having a high poise damage makes the attack Blunt.
List of Blunt Attacks[]
Below is a full list of character abilities that are considered Blunt Attacks. Any ability not found here, including Passive Talents and Constellations, is not considered Blunt.
Notes[]
- ↑ Non-Blunt Geo attacks can still trigger Shatter, but do not benefit from the increased effectiveness against Geo Constructs and Shields.
