"A heavenly rod with glowing floating parts and a divine halo, emitting mythical particles and celestial animations"
- Description.
Overview[]
The Heaven's Rod is currently considered one of the best rods in the game due to its large control bar, high resilience, great money making passive thanks to its ability to catch fish with the Heavenly mutation, which now has a 15% chance to mutate a fish for 5x its value and impressive luck stats. However, it lacks lure speed.
In stats, this is similar to the No-Life Rod, Rod of the Depths, Rod of The Eternal King and the Rod of The Forgotten Fang which are all some of the best rods in the game.
Obtainment[]
The Heaven's Rod can be found in the Northern Summit after completing the puzzle at Glacial Grotto, the top of the mountain. The player must obtain four different Energy Crystals (Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green) and insert them into the respective slots. Once completed, they may glide into an opening on the side of the mountain, climb down a rope, and purchase the rod for 1,750,000C$. The location for the Heaven's Rod Vault is: X: 19980, Y: 916, Z: 5384.
Notes: There is a map bug where you can slip into a crack to get behind the vault door and reach the Heaven's Rod, however you may not buy it until you have opened the vault; which stays open even after you leave.
Blue Energy Crystal[]
The Blue Energy Crystal can be found in a cave near Campsite 1. However, it is encased in ice and must be broken free using a pickaxe, which can be purchased from Campsite 2 for C$5,000. The crystal is located at: X: 20125, Y: 211, Z: 5450.
Green Energy Crystal[]
The Green Energy Crystal can be obtained from an NPC named "???" located in the cavern near Campsite 2. There are no specific requirements to obtain this crystal, meaning that you can just go up and talk to ???, which will hand you the crystal, no C$ required. The NPC can be found at X: 19870, Y: 448, Z: 5555.
Yellow Energy Crystal[]
The Yellow Energy Crystal is only obtainable during an Avalanche event. Once the Avalanche is triggered—either by activating an Avalanche Totem (150,000C$) or naturally—the crystal will spawn in a specific location. The Yellow Energy Crystal is located at X: 19500, Y: 335, Z: 5550.
Red Energy Crystal[]
The Red Energy Crystal is the most lengthy to acquire. First, you must collect all the other Energy Crystals. Afterward, speak with the NPC at the top of the Northern Summit, who will guide you to the next steps. To fully unlock the Red Energy Crystal, you must locate and press five buttons scattered across the map. These buttons can be activated even without the other crystals in your inventory. The Red Energy Crystal is located at X: 19920, Y: 1140, Z: 5350.
- Moosewood: Hidden behind one of the leaderboards.
- Roslit Bay: Found on a log near the Angler Quest (NPC) and the campfire.
- Forsaken Shores: Located inside the watchtower at the right front of the island.
- Snowcap Island: Positioned on the back of a lamppost near Wilson (NPC).
- Ancient Isle: Found on the side of the bunker where you can purchase the Stone Rod.
After pressing all five buttons, return to the NPC at the top of the Northern Summit. The NPC will reveal that they have had the Red Energy Crystal all along. At this point, you will face a choice:
- Steal the Crystal: Take it without paying, but this option may come with consequences.
- Buy the Crystal: Purchase it for C$250,000, ensuring a clean acquisition.
- If you choose the "steal and run" option, the NPC will kill you, taking 10% current cash (capped at C$2,000) and teleporting you back to your spawn point. Then, all future dialogues will become "I think we've talked enough!" with which you can only respond and end with "...".
- To successfully obtain the crystal, you must choose to buy it. However, if you had tried stealing before and is no longer permitted by the NPC, it can still be purchased via the crystal present besides the NPC.
- Note, it is possible for a bug to occur in which after choosing the "steal and run" option and returning to the the crystal, it may be obtained for C$0

Trivia[]
- With the buff it received in update 1.11.2., it appears to be better than Rod of The Eternal King, since the Heavenly mutation has a higher multiplier despite having a 5% lower chance than the Rod of The Eternal King's passive.
- Since this rod has no level requirement, you can get it far before the crafted rods and the No-Life Rod, which makes it a good option for casual players who can't grind all the levels needed for the crafted rods.
- The Heaven's Rod was added in version 1.11.0 in the Northern Expedition update.
- The Heaven's Rod is speculated to increase mutation chance.
- Currently, there is a bug that doesn't show when the player catches a fish with the Heavenly mutation when using Heaven's Rod. The player does get the mutation on the affected fish, but doesn't tell them if the fish they caught has the heavenly mutation.
- Despite the gate having a keyhole, no key is required to open it.
- The Heaven's Rod is the best all-rounder rod, and most preffered main rod by those not wanting a level requirement.
- As of update 1.11.0, The Heaven's Rod is the most expensive rod in the game costing (1.75m being the sticker price, or C$2,005,000-C$2,155,000 in total for the Red Energy Crystal cost (250k), an Avalanche Totem for the Yellow Energy Crystal (150k) and a Pickaxe (5k)
- If all the crystals aren't active, there will be a gate that blocks the entrance to Heaven's Rod. The gate resembles that of the one to The Depths.
- Players have associated the rod with Destiny Rod, given its luck boost near that of Destiny. Many players have even called it Destiny Rod V2.
- The “Steal the Crystal” option will no longer be available after you purchase The Red Energy Crystal.
- There is a bug that makes all dialogue appear as if you stole it regardless of whether you did or not.
- As of Patch (1.13.0), The Red Crystal was made completely free, allowing players to gather hundreds. However, they couldn't be sold in bulk and had to be sold one by one.
- The rod has the second highest obtainable luck stat in game, next to Destiny Rod with a 250% luck multiplier
