"Self-HEELP!" is the second segment of the eighteenth episode of the Disney Channel animated series Hamster & Gretel.
Synopsis[]
Fred's peppy mom, Stacy, hosts a motivational speaking event.
Plot[]
Stacy arrives to pick Fred up from her night with the Grant-Gomez family, with Fred finding her mother's upbeat, optimistic demeanor an embarrassment due to her own cynical, nihilistic personality. Her feelings are cemented as Stacy brings her to a motivational seminar as a VIP guest at which she embraces the notion of "positivity brings positiveness." However, chaos ensues when a man named Charlie, who appears to be a fan of Stacy's efforts, unveils his plan to begin the next phase of human evolution, dubbing himself Father Goose. The audience ridicules him due to the fact that he has goose wings on his rear, prompting him to summon geese that terrorize the Tri-State Area.
Kevin, Hamster, and Gretel distract the geese by using a ship's horn while Fred talks Charlie out of his plan using her signature nihilism, which moves him to tears. Afterwards, Fred realizes that Stacy understands her better than she had presumed.
