"Belly of the Beast" is the nineteenth episode of the Disney Channel and Marvel Animation series Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.
Synopsis[]
When Devil Dinosaur eats a dangerous Moon Girl gadget, Lunella and Casey must shrink themselves to retrieve it.
Plot[]
Casey introduces Lunella to the new and improved lab that contains brand new set ups and even a new lab. While Lunella loves it, she is slightly bothered by her work station as it now has been converted to having a series of colorful drawers which Lunella cannot seem to accept. Nevertheless, the two friends and Devil take to their new layout and happily go about their business. However, this quickly gets annoying for Lunella, especially since Casey cannot stop playing the song "Count on Friends". Lunella is hard at work making a goo bomb that can convert matter into goo and needs peace and quiet, but Casey continues to annoy Lunella.
Lunella finally snaps at Casey because of how annoying she is being and the girls argue among each other. During the scuffle, Lunella's goo bomb is flung into the air and Devil catches it. Unfortunately, it ends up in his mouth and he swallows it. Forced to stand still lest the bomb goes off, Lunella creates a tincture of tininess for herself and Casey and they take a mini mobile into Devil's mouth. They encounter bacteria, but when they cannot decide on where to go (Devil has multiple stomachs), the girls split up. Meanwhile, Devil deals with issues of his own such as mosquitos and Mimi offering him ice cream, which he is unable to get.
Lunella finds the bomb, but is attacked by more bacteria. She uses the song to alert Casey who arrives in the nick of time (Lunella had previously said she would only play it if something was absolutely wrong). Both girls apologize for their behavior with Casey pointing out that she does not want to risk losing her again. The bomb is activated, but they manage to fly it out with Casey's direction and toss the bomb in a containment box where it safely goes off. Devil finally relaxes after having had to stand still for so long. Lunella and Casey have a better appreciation for one another with the former reaccepting the friend song.
