Five good things that happened this week.
1.For Mother's Day, Himself gave me a buoy bell windchime, with a black bear on the clapper, grilled Little Princess steaks (filet mignon wrapped in bacon), and baked brownies for dessert.
2. I also Skyped with the Eldest
3. I had fun playing with the Scan n Cut machine (to be seen in future blogposts)
4. Himself also gave me a weather station as a very, early birthday present
5. With the weather finally warming up, we moved the television into the sun room.
How was your week?

I love that wind chime. Teddy said he loves the bear on it. Himself is very kind and thoughtful. I'm looking forward to seeing the Scan n Cut results.
ReplyDeleteTell Teddy I love the bear, too
DeleteYou had a good week and got a great present and good food - wonderful. My week was not so good but it could have been worse, and that's always worth something! Valerie
ReplyDeleteHope things are better for you
DeleteNice week CJ! Love the new windchime. Sounds like a good mother's day, and can't wait to see the Scan n Cut creations. My week was good, busy, and I got my haircut finally! Happy almost weekend.
ReplyDeleteLucky you. We’re still waiting to see what the governor allows to be opened up on Mon. Starting phase 1. Covid cases have been on the rise this week and that’s alarming.
DeleteGood week, nice surprises! The food sounds scrumptious for sure!! My week was fine - I work tomorrow (Saturday) then off Sunday. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHope you have some good weather for your day off
DeleteGood week! Ours wasn't quite that good....I broke the garage door..... :-/
ReplyDeleteRotrow! Good thing you’re grounded already 😺
DeleteLove the windchime. TG for skype! Your meal sounds awesome...filet mignon is one of my favorites...and butter and bacon make everything better. Enjoy the sunroom...looks like we have some nice temperatures coming up!
ReplyDeleteFinally nice temperatures to be in the sun room without being bundled up in sweatshirt, blanket, and mittens 😺
DeleteThat Photo Is Worth A Thousand Words - Lovely Little Princess Steaks On The Grill - Weather Station??? YES - Weatherunderground Is The Ideal Site For Backyard Stations - My Station Was Live Until Two Summers Ago When My Station Was Stolen - The Creep Cut The Wires And Left Them Dangling - I Am Willing To Bet, The Outdated Software Isn't Even Compatible With Their System - I Am Telling You This So That Himself Thinks About Installation, Location, Height, etc - Wish I Lived Near By As I Would Be More Than Willing To Help In Trade For A BBQ'd Meal
ReplyDeleteAll The Best This Weekend,
Cheers
Wish you lived closer, too, and that would be a fair trade!
DeleteA blessed week.
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteWhat a fun Mother's Day :) The windchime is nice, and steak sounds like the perfect Princess choice :) A weather station? What a treat! That sounds like a lot more fun than just checking my phone lol Sunroom Season!
ReplyDeleteHopefully we’ll get the weather station hooked up this weekend and then I can blog about it 😺
DeleteWell that certainly sounds a good week to me!
ReplyDeleteLovely present and tasty sounding food among the goodies.
Enjoy the upcoming weekend.
All the best Jan
Most weeks are good. Little Princess steaks made it better. 😺

What kind of weather station did you get? Love them.. Hugs! deb
Congrats on your weightloss 👏
DeleteAh! A wind chime design I've not seen before. It's beautiful with the bear for the clapper. Great choice by your husband.
ReplyDeleteThe wind chime comes from a company in Maine
DeleteWow CJ!! Happy Mother's Day! I love your windchime and your special dinner! What a special week you had! And, you got to speak to your eldest too!
ReplyDeleteIf you want, I invite you back to my blog. I wrote in my description, the wrong painting to look at! I meant the one that is in my header. The black and white swirl one. I have also gave one more clue. I'm inviting you back, because I know you are good at finding things!! LOL!
Big Hugs!
I’ll be sure to take a look
DeleteA wonderful week! Great to hear it's getting warmer and the weather machine is a great present, as long as it tells you it's always going to be warm ...lol 😉. Sounds like you had a lovely mother's Day, the wind chime is gorgeous, I wouldn't mind that in my garden 😀. Can't wait to see you makes! Take care! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteA cooler start to the week, but warming up at the end
Deletesounds like a good mothers' day. hmmm ..moved the TV to the sun room. That sounds nice. I know a lot of the houses back in the midwest and east had sun rooms .. I know in Kansas they did when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteThe sun room is my happy place. All the joy of being outside without the bugs!
