Shevrin Jones (Democratic Party) (also known as Shev) is a member of the Florida State Senate, representing District 34. He assumed office on November 8, 2022. His current term ends on November 3, 2026.
Jones (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the Florida State Senate to represent District 34. He declared candidacy for the 2026 election.
Biography
Shevrin Jones was born in Miami Gardens, Florida, and lives in West Park, Florida.[1] Jones earned a B.S. in biochemistry/molecular biology from Florida A&M University in 2006 and a master's degree in educational leadership from Florida Atlantic University in 2017.[2] Jones' career experience includes working as an AP Chemistry teacher with Broward County Public Schools and the executive director of South Florida Reading Corps.[1]
