Rosalind Osgood (Democratic Party) is a member of the Florida State Senate, representing District 32. She assumed office on November 8, 2022. Her current term ends on November 3, 2026.
Osgood (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the Florida State Senate to represent District 32. She declared candidacy for the 2026 election.
Osgood previously served as a member of the Broward County School Board from 2012 to 2022. She resigned on March 8, 2022 in order to run for a seat on the Florida State Senate.
Biography
Rosalind Osgood graduated from Fort Lauderdale High School in 1983.[1] Osgood earned a master's degree in divinity from New Orleans Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a master's degree and doctorate in public administration from Nova Southeastern University.[2][3] Her career experience includes working as the CEO of the Mount Olive Development Corporation (MODCO).[1][3] Osgood has served on the boards of the Fort Lauderdale Chapter of the Links, Inc., the Broward Health Coalition Board, and the Circuit 17 Juvenile Justice Board.[3]

Nonpartisan primary election
The primary election was canceled. Rosalind Osgood (Nonpartisan) won the election without appearing on the ballot.
2016
Two of the nine seats on the Broward County Public Schools Board of Education were up for by district primary election and one seat was up for at-large primary election on August 30, 2016. District 2 incumbent Patricia Good defeated challengers Andrew Ramjit and Rose Walker-Williams. District 5 incumbent Rosalind Osgood won re-election against newcomer Nathalie Lynch-Walsh. In the race for At-Large Seat 9, incumbent Robin Bartleman defeated challenger Sharnell Jackson.[4] The District 3 seat was originally set to be on the ballot, but incumbent Heather Pomper Brinkworth was unopposed in her bid for re-election and was automatically re-elected when the candidate filing deadline passed.
