I then earned a Juris Doctorate degree and became a CA state bar attorney. I run a solo firm in the city of Van Nuys, where I work closely with various communities in the areas of Workers' Comp/Employment law and Personal Injury. I am a single working mother, living in Reseda with my 21 year old daughter, who is attending community college and works full time.

  • Creating, boosting and supporting policy on education, specifically boosting K-12 education, informing and connecting post-graduate students with educational paths, career options, and financial assistance opportunities.
  • Focusing and addressing the growing concern surrounding homeless individuals and families by supporting and boosting infrastructure and outreach to locate, identify needs, and increase physical and mental health services directly to this sector of the communities. Increasing and expediting development of affordable and sustainable housing. .
  • Focusing on economic growth, specifically supporting and revitalizing small businesses by creating and reinventing policy to incentivize small businesses and increase work force.

I am interested in education, physical and mental health services, business and economic development, and health and human services.

I held my first job at the age of 16 while I was in high school at LA Lutheran HS in Sylmar. At that time, my mother spoke with me and said she could no longer afford my tuition and I would have to transfer out. I was a sophomore going to junior and I was determined to stay at LA Lutheran. That is when I decided I would pay for my own tuition. I was hired at a local restaurant, Fiddler's restaurant in Sylmar and worked there, ensuring to pay for my education until I graduated.
