Matthew Conway is a former Democratic member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 61 from 2009 to 2011.
Biography
Conway's professional experience includes working as the founder and president of MyZipple.com, principal at the MacDougall Correctional Institution, teacher in the Connecticut Department of Correction Unified School District #1, chief steward for the Connecticut State Employee Association, principal of the Enfield Correctional Institution, and state school department head of the Maloney Correctional Institution.[1]

On November 4, 2008, Conway won election to the Connecticut House of Representatives from Connecticut's 61st District, defeating Lauren Life (R). Conway received 6,305 votes in the election while Life received 5,629 votes.[2] Conway raised $8,669 for his campaign; Life raised $25,482.[3]
