Francis Rexford Cooley (Republican Party) is a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 22. He assumed office on January 4, 2023. His current term ends on January 8, 2025.
Cooley (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives to represent District 22. He lost in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Francis Rexford Cooley was born in Hartford, Connecticut. Cooley graduated from Farmington High School. He earned a B.A. from the University of Colorado and received an M.A. in history from the University of Maine and a master's degree in secondary education from the University of Hartford. His career experience includes working as an educator, teaching primarily history and art history. He also worked at Paier College of Art, teaching art and history and serving as dean and head of the general education department. Cooley volunteered as a member of the Popular Culture/American Culture Association and on the board of directors of the American Clock and Watch Museum. Cooley was elected to the Plainville Library Board of Trustees in 2019.[1]
