Vail (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives to represent District 52. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
As of September 2019, Kurt Vail lives in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. Vail’s career experience includes working as a insurance agent with Paradiso Insurance. Prior to serving in the General Assembly, Rep. Vail was a member of the Stafford School Board, and Stafford’s Downtown Revitalization Committee along with its Recreation Commission.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014. David Pinney was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Kurt Vail was unopposed in the Republican primary. Vail defeated Pinney and Linda Louise Lacasse (nonpartisan) in the general election.[4][5]
