Joel S. DeVore was a judge for Position 11 of the Oregon Court of Appeals. He assumed office on October 17, 2013. He left office on December 31, 2021.
DeVore won re-election for the Position 11 judge of the Oregon Court of Appeals outright in the primary on May 19, 2020, after the general election was canceled.
DeVore was appointed to the court by Democratic Governor John Kitzhaber on October 17, 2013, to one of three new seats created by the Oregon State Legislature in 2012.[1][2] He resigned from the court on December 31, 2021, in order to retire.[3]

DeVore received his undergraduate degree in politics from Antioch College in 1974 and his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1982.[4][5]
