Walt Edmonds
Walter I. Edmonds, Jr. was a judge on the Oregon Court of Appeals. He served on the court from 1989 and retired on December 31, 2009.[1] He was retained in 1990, 1996, 2002 and 2008.[2][3][4][5]
Education
Edmonds received his undergraduate degree from Linfield College in 1965 and his law degree from Willamette University College of Law in 1967.[1]
Career
Edmonds began his legal career in 1967. He worked as an attorney in Madras, Ohio and was appointed Jefferson County District Attorney later that year. He joined the law firm Larkin & Bryant in 1970. Edmonds became a partner in this firm before leaving for the 11th Judicial District, where he judged from 1975 until 1989. He then joined the Oregon Court of Appeals.[1]
