Chris Gorsek (Democratic Party) is a member of the Oregon State Senate, representing District 25. He assumed office on January 11, 2021. His current term ends on January 13, 2025.

Gorsek (Democratic Party, Independent Party, Oregon Working Families Party) ran for re-election to the Oregon State Senate to represent District 25. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024. He advanced from the Democratic primary on May 21, 2024.

Gorsek served in the Oregon House of Representatives, representing District 49 from 2013 to 2021.

Biography

Chris Gorsek lives in Troutdale, Oregon. Gorsek earned a B.S. and M.A. from the University of Oregon and a Ph.D. in urban studies from Portland State University. His career experience includes working as a teacher with Mount Hood Community College and a police officer with the Portland Police Bureau.[1][2]
