David Brock Smith (Republican Party) is a member of the Oregon State Senate, representing District 1. He assumed office on January 17, 2023. His current term ends on January 8, 2029.

Smith (Republican Party, Independent Party) ran for re-election to the Oregon State Senate to represent District 1. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024. He advanced from the Republican primary on May 21, 2024.

Biography

David Smith was born in Port Orford, Oregon. Smith earned an associate degree from Southwestern Oregon Community College and Southern Oregon University. His career experience includes working in the culinary industry. Smith served as Port Orford City Council president and president of the chamber of commerce.[1]
