Sollman's campaign website highlighted the following issues:

Schools and Education

As a member of the Hillsboro School Board, I know that education is the key to opportunity. I have been a vocal advocate for making sure our schools have the resources they need to keep teachers, reduce class sizes and make investments in CTE and dual-credit programs. I’m running for the Oregon House to put our schools and our students first, because when we do, the community and economy flourish.

Helping Small Businesses

As a parent, I know how important it is for students to build the skills to get good paying jobs. In Salem, I’ll address the rising cost of college and work to create partnerships with local businesses to ensure students have the ability to study, train, and update their skills to compete for good-paying jobs while they are in high school and can continue when they graduate.

Protecting our Environment

I love the community where my husband and I have raised our boys. I believe that Oregon is a special place to live, work and recreate. I will work to protect our natural resources and beautiful state. Clean air and access to clean water is a right for us all and we should not jeopardize those resources for the sake of our future generations.[10]

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Oregon

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
