Charles Wiger (Democratic Party) was a member of the Minnesota State Senate, representing District 43. He assumed office in 1997. He left office on January 3, 2023.
Wiger (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Minnesota State Senate to represent District 43. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Wiger has been the president of the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School Board.
Biography
Wiger earned his bachelor's and law degrees from Hamline University in 1974 and 1977, respectively. His professional experience includes working as an attorney.

Wiger won election in District 43 in 2012 due to redistricting. He was unopposed in the August 14 Democratic primary and defeated Duane E. (Swede) Johnson (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[5][6]

Wiger won re-election to the 55th District seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. Tami Ekstrand ran for the seat on the Republican ticket and Mark Jenkins ran for the Independence Party. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
