|I am married to Susan, my amazing wife of over 31 years. I graduated from Sheridan High School in 1984, the US Air Force Academy in 1988 (Bachelor of Science in Biology), was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force (USAF) and worked my way through the ranks to become a USAF Instructor / Evaluator Pilot earning my Command Pilot Wings and flying over 2,500 hours in multiple aircraft and major weapons systems. I earned two master’s degrees during my military career (Masters of Aeronautical Science & Master of Military Operational Art and Science). I am a combat veteran going back to Desert Storm flying a combined 58 combat/combat support air refueling missions across three military campaigns. I retired in February 2011 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. In October 2010, shortly before retiring from the military, I started BEM Int’l, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) based in Sheridan Wyoming specializing in energy, infrastructure, and land use consulting. BEM Int’l has since grown into a well-established nationwide business that enables Bryan to work at his discretion and allows time to effectively campaign for and serve as Sheridan County’s next District 51 House Representative (HD-51).
- I have spent most of my life in service to our Nation, our State, and more recently, our Republican Party. I have dedicated both my time and treasure to the success of our Party and expect to do the same for years to come. My bottom line is that I have the experience, the desire, and the time to serve as your U.S. House Representative for the Great State of Wyoming.
- Fundamental Guiding Principles: I believe in God, the U.S. and Wyoming Constitutions. I will support and defend them, always! I believe that there is an assault on our 1st, 2nd, 4th and 10th Amendments which must be addressed right now and every time anyone tries to circumvent or ignore them. I believe free-market capitalism is the best economic system to ensure individual liberty and creative freedom. I believe in the Right to Life. I believe that no one in Washington has the right to tell us in Wyoming how to manage our water, air, wildlife, minerals and other natural resources. I believe in Liberty & Freedom and that these principles are intertwined, and I believe in the Wyoming Republican Platform and the ideals encompassed within.
- Property Taxes are Destroying Wyoming’s Citizens Ability to Own Property In this time of highly divisive politics, soaring inflation, unprecedented government overreach, etc. it doesn’t surprise me that “Property Taxes” are a major issue amongst the hundreds of voters I’ve spoken with thus far in this election cycle. In nearly every case, voters want change in how our property taxes are assessed and they want it now! That is why I am supporting a change to an Acquisition-depreciation based property tax system that won’t drive Wyomingites to the poor house.
Core Issues We Are Facing Today in Wyoming:
• Taxes are out of Control - Our most vulnerable residents will soon be taxed out of their own homes. Whether it is the built-in annual increase in property taxes or the attempts to raise Wyoming's fuel tax, or the concealing of taxes as increases in fees and licenses, this madness must end!
• Election Integrity - Crossover voting and the inability of the Wyoming Legislature to pass a means to recall elected officials puts our ability to have faith in fair elections and our republic in jeopardy. This must be fixed immediately!
• Transparency & Accountability – A government that has moved to an administrative/bureaucratic form does not allow for listening to the voices of those who elect them. Elected officials must work for and be accountable to those they represent. Integrity matters!
• Overreaching Government - Our State & Federal Governments are massive and out-of-touch. We must limit our government in size, function and reach.
• 2nd Amendment - Biden is flat wrong, the words, "....shall not be infringed" are not optional!
