Elections for the Alabama House of Representatives were held in Alabama on November 2, 2010. State house seats in all 105 districts were on the ballot. The signature filing deadline was April 2, 2010, and the primary election day was June 1, 2010.
In Alabama, representatives serve four-year terms with no term limits.
The incumbent representative ran for re-election in 92 of the 105 state house seats up for re-election in 2010 (87.62% of races). Fifteen incumbents lost their re-election bids—14 Democrats and 1 Republican. In the election, Republicans won the majority for the first time since reconstruction.
