Johnson (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Alabama House of Representatives to represent District 33. He won in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Johnson held office until his death on July 14, 2020.[1]
Biography
Johnson was born on September 21, 1943. His professional experience included working as a pharmacist and serving as a partner in Medical Care Equipment Inc. He received his degree in pharmacy from Auburn University.[1]

The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Anthony Zachero was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Ronald Johnson was unopposed in the Republican primary. Johnson defeated Zachero in the general election.[2][3][4][5]

On November 7, 2006, Johnson was re-elected to the District 33 seat in the Alabama House of Representatives, defeating opponent Clara L. Curtis (D).[7]

Johnson is a member of the Alabama Pharmaceutical Association, American Pharmaceutical Association, Auburn Kiwanis Club, Executive Board of the South, Maryland Pharmaceutical Association, National Federation of Independent Business, South Talladega County Pharmaceutical Association, Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce, Sylacauga Retail Merchants Association, and Talladega Kiwanis Club.[9]
