I. RATIONALE:
In consonance with DM No. 260, S. 2020 entitled Division Year-Round Wellness
Program Implementation at the Schools Division Office (SDO) and in all public
schools teaching and non-teaching personnel. Physical activity such as biking and
exercise can be effective treatment strategies for symptoms of both depression and
anxiety that a lot of people are experiencing amidst of COVID 19. Engaging in
physical activity and exercise can bring short and long term benefits for mood,
sleep, and physical health. It could be possible thru consistent and sustained
motivation by peer support, family support, or electronic platforms offering exercise
programs.
