ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN MATHEMATICS
Number sense is one of the best things that MATHEMATICS can give to our pupils. It sets a stronger
foundation by focusing on learning to count and calculate for each individual’s future skills. This helps the children
to develop the confidence in their ability to understand problems and numbers as it also develops dispositions
such as curiosity, imagination, flexibility, inventiveness and persistence which contribute to their future success in
and out of school.
Mathematics is a way of describing relationships between numbers and other measurable quantities. It
allows us to communicate idea using universal accepted terminology.
Mathematics is a complicated world of numbers which is made more easily by the traditional teaching
techniques and advanced technologies through the use of television and computers for visual effects.
It is a lifelong learning process which plays a significant role in the experiences of the learner’s as they
solve the problem until they arrive at the correct answer. It helps them develop a culture of effort and hard work.
To poster a better learning environment, our school adopt this “I multiply mo Exercise” wherein our
school children use the multiplication facts for counting in their regular exercise after the flag ceremony.
However during the Mathematics Festival ( Elimination Round) held last April 26, 2022 which was
represented by our potentials from each grade level , had once again made an exemplary performance to our
grade two, four and grade five pupils respectively.
The recent administration of the Post Test on the Four Fundamental Operation shows their better
performance in the different operation which they find difficulties in as compared to their pretest.
Activities/Measures undertaken to Improve Pupils’ Mathematical Progress

 The significant use of multiplication facts for pupils’ counting in their regular exercises after the flag
ceremony.in their respective classrooms.
 Regular Evaluation through oral and written form.
 Mathematical Learning Center is provided with mathematical concepts and ideas to enhance the pupils’
learning capabilities.

October - Start of using the multiplication facts for pupils’ counting as they point on the 1 st to the 10th finger
of their hands presented in videos
November - Start of remedial instruction on the basic operation in mathematics
December - Administered the Pre-Test on the Four Fundamental Operations from grades
I-VI
January - Conducted school elimination test from grades one to six to bring out the
potentials and prepare them for the coming competitions..
February -Identified the least learned competencies which our pupils find difficulties in.
March - Give remedial intstruction on the least learned competencies from the different
grade level. Trained the potentials for the coming competitions
April - Our pupils from the different grade level join the competition in the District Math Festival
Elimination -
May -Administered the Post Test on the Four Fundamental Operations from Grades I-VI.
June - Conduct Remedial Instruction and make up classes on the least learned competencies
July - Acknowledged the pupil- contestants who won in the recently administered District Math Festival
