Wilkes-Barre police are investigating a report of shots being fired in the city on Thursday evening.
Police were dispatched to Moyallen Street around 6:50 p.m. after a resident reported hearing several gunshots but not seeing the gunman.
Officers arriving on scene found several spent shell casings and determined no people or property were hit.
