Wilkes-Barre Twp. police are trying to identify a group of thieves who rummaged dozens of cars and led officers on a chase in a stolen vehicle.
Police say the three thieves entered between 20-30 vehicles starting around 3 a.m. Monday and then stole a blue Ford sedan from Nicholson Street.
The trio used the stolen car to flee Wilkes-Barre city police in the area of High and McCarragher streets around 3:40 a.m., police said.
They later abandoned the stolen car.
