More than 700 local runners rang in the New Year by participating in the annual Back Mountain Trail 5K on Tuesday. Proceeds from the event benefit local causes. Daniel Danilovitz, 18, was the overall male winner with a time of 15:55. Madison Hedgin, 17, was the overall female winner with a time of 19:10.
