AFD group’s regional offer in the Atlantic region

Composed of the French Development Agency (AFD), in charge of financing the public sector and NGOs, research and training, its subsidiary Proparco, dedicated to fi nancing and support for the private sector, and Expertise France, a technical cooperation agency, the Group finances, supports and accelerates the transitions necessary for a more just and resilient world.

AFD’s Regional Directorate in the Atlantic Ocean (DROA) embodies the Group’s presence as close to the field as possible and promotes strategic convergence and operational synergies between the various entities to best support customers and partners.
Based in Fort-de-France, Martinique, DROA runs a network of six locations (Guadeloupe, French Guyana, Martinique, Haiti, Dominican Republic and Suriname, also covering Guyana). DROA also operates on the island of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, near Canada.

AFD Group committed €820 millions since 2010 through 37 projects in progress.
