Charles Arthur "Charlie" Feathers (June 12, 1932 – August 29, 1998) was an American country music and rockabilly musician.
Feathers was born in Holly Springs, Mississippi, and recorded a string of popular singles like "Peepin' Eyes," "Defrost Your Heart," "Tongue-Tied Jill," and "Bottle to the Baby" on Sun Records, Meteor and King Records in the 1950s.
Feathers was known for being a master of shifting emotional and sonic dynamics in his songs. His theatrical, hiccup-styled, energetic, rockabilly vocal style inspired a later generation of rock vocalists, including Lux Interior of The Cramps.
He studied and recorded several songs with Junior Kimbrough, whom he called "the beginning and end of all music". His childhood influences were reflected in his later music of the 1970s and 1980s, which had an easy-paced, sometimes sinister, country-blues tempo, as opposed to the frenetic fast-paced style favored by some of his rockabilly colleagues of the 1950s.
He started out as a session musician at Sun Studios, playing any side instrument he could in the hopes of someday making his own music there. He eventually played on a small label started by Sam Phillips called Flip records which got him enough attention to record a couple singles for Sun Records and Holiday Inn Records. By all accounts the singer was not held in much regard by Phillips, but Feathers often made the audacious claim that he had arranged "That's All Right" and "Blue Moon of Kentucky" for Elvis Presley. He also claimed that his "We're Getting Closer (To Being Apart)" had been intended to be Elvis' sixth single for Sun. He did, however, get his name on one of Elvis' Sun records, "I Forgot To Remember To Forget" when the writer Stan Kesler asked him to record a demo of the song.
Let's Love may refer to:
Talking Dreams is the debut studio album by American indie pop band Echosmith. The album was released on October 1, 2013 through Warner Bros. Records. All songs on the album were co-written by the four Sierota siblings and their father, Jeffery David.
Matt Collar of AllMusic gave a positive review saying "Echosmith's 2013 debut album, Talking Dreams, introduces a group with an unabashedly youthful take on dance-rock — even though their style pays celebratory tribute to '80s pop music. A band composed of the four Sierota siblings, the California-based Echosmith includes lead singer Sydney, guitarist/vocalist Jamie, bassist/vocalist Noah, and drummer Graham. Working with producer Mike Elizondo and songwriter Jeffery David, the band's freshman effort is impressively filled out with radio-ready songs that combine U2's chiming guitars, Fleetwood Mac's harmonies, and Killers-style neo-new wave production. In that sense, Echosmith will also draw favorable comparisons to such similarly inclined acts as Paramore, Kitten, and Britain's Two Door Cinema Club. Cuts like the romantic title track, the sparkling "Let's Love," and the bubbly "Come with Me" are all infectious and smartly produced, and tend to stick in your head long after the album ends. There is a brilliant lightness to these songs — nothing ever feels too thought-out. While this doesn't lend a ton of depth to the album, with the members of Echosmith barely in their twenties and lead singer Sydney just seventeen, it only seems logical to assume that there's room for growth. And based on Talking Dreams, that growth will be a pleasure to witness".
"Let's Love" was a Japanese-only release from Melanie C's second album Reason. Released in Japan on 6 August 2003 and written by David Munday, Phil Thornalley and Melanie C, the single featured an instrumental of the track and two b-sides. The song was on a commercial for six months in Asia and Australia for Toyota, and then a single was exclusively released in Japan. While "Let's Love" had no music video, the song has been performed live a few times. Pressings are very rare and sell high second hand.
This is the format and track listing of the major single release of "Let's Love".

Let me tell you bout my real gone chick
She's got a different style
And when she tries to talk to me
I always smile
She's a tongue tied Jill, my rockin' thrill
But I like to hear her say
Well, me dot what me want
Well, me dot what me want
Oh, me dot what me want
Well me dot what me want
Me dot what me want when me dot you
Let's go!
Well, I took her to a place I knew
Where the lights were low
And when they played a boogie beat
That cat could really go
We danced that night 'till daylight
Then I heard her say
Well, me dot what me want
Well, me dot what me want
Oh, me dot what me want
Well, me dot what me want
Me dot what me want when me dot you
Let's go!
Well, I asked her if she'd marry me
So I could hold her hand
Then she could be my lovin' Jill
I'd be her rockin' man
Now she won my heart, we'll never part
When my girl says to me
Well, me ba-da-ba-da-ba what me want
Well, me ba-da-ba-da-ba what me want
Oh, me ba-da-ba what me want
Me ba-da-ba-da-ba what me want
