Gilzorm

The Gilzorm is a quadrupedal low-class Genma that appears in Onimusha 3: Demon Siege. Having learned how to manipulate DNA, Guildenstern experimented with the DNA of the Three-Eyes and combined it with the Zorm, resulting in the creation of the enhanced Gilzorm.

Appearance

These undead Genma share much of their appearance with the Zorm, though are reinforced with heavier armor in order to protect them. Each of their four legs sports dark metal armor that covers their entire limbs, while they wear a brown set of metal pauldrons on their shoulders that protects their upper arms. Their heads are protected by a large metal helmet that exposes only their lower jaw, with the green glow of their eyes shining through. However, despite their enhancements, the Gilzorm appear to wield the same basic katana that the Zorm wield.

Behavior

The Gilzorm's behavior largely mimics that of the Zorm, though it is now capable of picking up on even the slightest amount of light to move about freely in the darkness thanks to its enhanced vision gained from the Three-Eyes. Its attacks are more deadly than its predecessor, and the Gilzorm will often attempt to chain them together to greater effect. Like the Zorm, the Gilzorm are rarely seen alone, choosing to attack in swarms while sometimes reinforced by stronger Genma such as Zabiet or Dordio.
