The Monkeys are hunters featured in Manhunt. They are a bonus gang only appears in the bonus Scene, Monkey See, Monkey Die! Their voice actor(s) are uncredited.
Description[]
Appearing as their Animal namesake, the Monkeys are a wild group who wear large bloody costumes and wield Shotguns. The Monkeys especially stand out from the other Hunters by making an array of simian noises.
Possibly they must have a rivalry with the Wardogs as they are seen killing a member of the Wardogs.

Monkey See, Monkey Die![]

The bananas in Carcer City Zoo are in shortage, multiple Monkeys are angry and wants more bananas. Some time before the Scene started, the Monkeys has Sawn Off Shotguns, killed every Wardogs in the Zoo, with the only survivor left is James Earl Cash. Cash starts in the end of the Zoo, the Monkeys use several weapons trying to kill Cash escaping the Zoo. Cash was hard to beat and they failed.

- It is believed sometime during development Cash would originally wear the Monkey suit, specifically in the Scene Doing Time due to the opening line and the prevalence of a Rabbit suit in the following Scene. It has never been confirmed if this is true or not.
- On his back the number 666 written.
- The Skinheads, labelled as "dealers", is a type of pedestrian in Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes from Liberty City who are known to wear clothes bearing images and artworks from the Manhunt series. The image of the Monkeys is present in one of the two possible body models for the generic Skinheads.[1][2]
