The river Legolin in Ossiriand.

Legolin was one of the rivers of Ossiriand in eastern Beleriand.

Originating in the Blue Mountains, it was one of the six tributaries to the great river Gelion.[1]

According to Karen Wynn Fonstad's The Atlas of Middle-earth, it appears to have been about seventy-five miles in length.[2]

Etymology[]

Legolin is a Sindarin word.[3]
